Our Mission

We believe each person is created to have a purpose and experience significance. Additionally, together our community of faith has a purpose. We believe that our mission and purpose is to make Christ-like disciples in the nations beginning with our neighbors. Jesus' words are recorded in Matthew 28:19 where he says, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" (NLT).

Our Beliefs

We are a Church of the Nazarene. The Church of the Nazarene is a Protestant Christian church in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. It was founded to spread the message of Christ-like living across the nations. Today the Church of the Nazarene is located in 156 world areas. We follow the Great Commission of Jesus recorded in Matthew 28:19-20. Our mission is to make Christlike disciples in the nations. We believe that God offers to everyone forgiveness, peace, joy, purpose, love, and meaning in life. But most of all God offers the promise of heaven when life is over by entering and living a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We are called and excited to take this message to people everywhere. The Church of the Nazarene is also a holiness church. We believe that Christians can experience a deeper level of life in which there is victory over sin, power to witness and serve, and a richer fellowship with God, all through being filled with God's Holy Spirit.
